Can’t Compare Black Panthers to KKK.

I’ve seen too many of these comparisons since the Super Bowl and it’s crazy how many people actually agree.

First off here is the quote from FOX’s business guest. David Clarke, “Them coming out, Beyonce in those Black Panther-type uniforms, would that be acceptable if a band, a white band came out in hoods and white sheets in the same sort of fashion?  We would be appalled and outraged. The Black Panthers are a subversive hate group in America.”

They had a black man say this like that’s going to bring any validation to it. There are a lot of self hating Uncle Ruckus out there.

This comparison isn’t new. It has been around ever since the Black Panther Party came into existence. Some people fail to realize it if wasn’t for organizations like the KKK and the general oppression of black people there would have been no need for the Black Panther Party to begin with. Her song and attire was without a doubt pro black. It rubbed a lot of racists the wrong way. I would just say people, but lets be real if you weren’t racists how many legitimate reasons could you come up with to explain why it bothered you. You can’t say it was inappropriate or the Super Bowl wasn’t the correct forum. Why not? Beyonce is an artists they have jobs to do, which is to reflect the times.(Nina Simone) Too many people walk around with blinders on ignoring the world around them and it baffles me.

Now the KKK was formed in 1865 over one hundred years before the Black Panther Party which was 1966. He called the Black Panthers a hate group which makes no sense and shows how little he and the people that agree with him even know about them.

I’m just going to point out a few key factors regarding the differences between these two groups.

Black Panthers wanted a safe community for their people to live in. They wanted to protect us from groups like the KKK. Not even just blacks, but people of other ethnicities as well. They wanted liberation for their people and for us to have our own.

The KKK are a terrorist organization whose sole purpose is to maintain white supremacy. They have done nothing but oppress, intimidate, and murder those they don’t deem worthy since their formation.

I can go on a rant about the differences between the two, but I’ll save time with this.

Black Power has always been about unity. White Power has always been about hatred and oppression. You can’t have pro black without anti-black first. Share this with those who think otherwise.
